1.25" Orion Variable Tele-Extender Feature

A tele-extender is an eyepiece projection tube used for high-magnification photography of the Moon and planets with a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Orion tele-extenders fit all Celestron and Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. One end threads onto the eyepiece holder (visual back) of the telescope, over a 1.25" eyepiece; the other end threads into your camera's T-ring (sold separately). The following Orion eyepiece series are recommended for use with Orion tele-extenders: Explorer II, Sirius Plossl (except 32mm and 40mm), HighLight Plossl (except 32mm and 40mm), Ultrascopic (except 30mm and 35mm).
