Ricoh VF-2 External Viewfinder for GXR Camera System Feature

• Features a low-distortion field of view
• High image magnification ratio
• A wide diopter correction range

Small size and 920,000-dot high definition. LCD Viewfinder VF-2 Attached to the hot shoe, the LCD viewfinder has a 100% field of view equivalent to approx. 920,000 dots. It provides a wealth of benefits to the photographer, such as eliminating the influence of sunlight to provide a consistently excellent field of view and helping control hand-motion blur by enabling a three-point hold. It can also increase shooting ease by giving a clear view in the viewfinder while the DIRECT screen is shown on the camera picture display. With a high-performance viewfinder optical system utilizing an aspherical lens, the VF-2 achieves a low-distortion field of view, a high image magnification ratio, and a wide diopter correction range ( 4.5 - +2.5Dpt). The tilt capability is convenient for low-angle shooting. (Case included)

QSI 583wsg Monochrome Cooled Full Frame CCD Camera with 8.3MP KAF-8300 Image Sensor, Microlens Technology, Shutter, CFW and Guider Port

QSI 583wsg Monochrome Cooled Full Frame CCD Camera with 8.3MP KAF-8300 Image Sensor, Microlens Technology, Shutter, CFW and Guider Port Reviews

Other Picture

QSI 583wsg Monochrome Cooled Full Frame CCD Camera with 8.3MP KAF-8300 Image Sensor, Microlens Technology, Shutter, CFW and Guider Port Feature

• Full-frame 8.3 megapixel KAF-8300 sensor
• High quantum efficiency, low noise, wide dynamic range
• Up to 45°C CCD cooling
• OAG body configuration with built-in mechanical shutter, internal color filter wheel and integrated precision off-axis guider
• 16-bit output, USB 2.0

The QSI 583wsg camera employs a Kodak KAF-8300 8.3 megapixel full-frame CCD image sensor with microlens technology. The KAF-8300 sensor has a photoactive array of 3326W x 2504H pixels. It has excellent quantum efficiency between 350nm and 1000nm with peak QE over 60%. Low dark current and high pixel charge capacity result in a dynamic range exceeding 70db. The sensor employs a true two-phase charge transfer technology with a transparent gate that significantly increases optical response compared to traditional front illuminated full frame sensors. Micro lenses cover the surface of the CCD to focus the light through the transparent gate to further increase optical response. The QSI Model 583wsg camera incorporates the internal mechanical shutter, internal color filter wheel and the integral off-axis guider in a body that is just a big larger than the "full" body of the ws models (4.45" x 5" x 3"). The shutter is not only used for timing exposures, but can be left closed to produce 'dark frames' for subsequent image processing. Exposures can be as short as 0.03 seconds or as long as 240 minutes. The filter wheel accepts any standard 1.25" filter set. Optionally, the camera can be supplied with the Astronomik LRGB Filter Set, which will be installed in the clean room environment at QSI (click the "Accessories" tab for filter options). The filter wheel can easily be removed and replaced to change or clean the glass filters.

The Imaging Source 1024 x 768 Monochrome FireWire Astro CCD Telescope Camera Feature

• Camera Features:
• Monochrome FireWire camera without IR cut filter
• 1/3" CCD, progressive scan
• Resolution 1024 x 768
• Max. 30 fps

The astro CCD cameras DMK 31AF03 unifies three important characteristics for astrophotography: high resolution, fast refresh rate and a low price. Using the shipped software - IC Capture - you can save the captured images to lossless and uncompressed AVI files. The astro CCD camera DMK 31AF03.AS outputs a fast stream of uncompressed monochrome images. In order to transfer these to the host PC, a very fast bus is required. Hence, the camera is fitted with a FireWire connector. The astro CCD cameras DMK 31AF03.AS is based on the CCD chip ICX204AL, manufactured by Sony. This monochrome CCD has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels at 1/3" format. Even at long exposure times, its noise is minimal. Due to the high quality of the ICX204AL, the CCD chip is often used in industrial image processing applications. The image data produced by the CCD camera DMK 31AF03.AS is not compressed. Furthermore, the camera does not have any optical, nor electronic filters. Thus, the camera produces very true-to-life captures of the night sky.

Telescope Camera Adapter - 2" UltraWide for Canon EOS & Rebel DSLR

Telescope Camera Adapter - 2" UltraWide for Canon EOS & Rebel DSLR Reviews

Other Picture

Telescope Camera Adapter - 2" UltraWide for Canon EOS & Rebel DSLR Feature

• Direct from Camera body to 2" Eyepiece Port.
• Bypasses T-Rings for 10mm Larger Clear Aperture!
• Reduced Vignetting, Lower Profile & Weight.
• Threaded for Standard 2" Eyepiece Filters (48mm).
• Fully Baffled to reduce internal reflections.

Just say NO to T-Rings! As the CCD chips in our DSLR cameras get larger it is ever more important to have an unobstructed light path to prevent vignetting. The manufacturers of high end scopes wisely put 2" eyepiece ports on them. Why then do we insist on putting a 1.5" bottleneck between your camera and telescope? Answer: T-Rings have been around for decades, a legacy standard as outdated as 300 baud modems. They exist not because they are the best solution for imaging, but because they are the best solution for manufacturing. After all it's much easier to spin a standard thread on all adapters, regardless of telescope port size or camera brand. The T-Ring may be convenient but it is simply out of its league on a scope with a 2" eyepiece port. True-2TM is a true 2" prime focus adapter that takes you directly from the cameras bayonet mount to a 2" Barrel with as few wasted photons as is possible, adding as much as 10mm more clear aperture over legacy adapters! The largest clear aperture of any adapter on the market. And it costs little more than you would spend on a quality T-Ring and 2" T-adapter. Baffled to reduce reflections and threaded for 2" eyepiece filters. Now also available with or without an undercut on the barrel. Don't choke the photons out of your camera with an inferior adapter! This listing fits all Canon EOS cameras, both SLR & DSLR including the following: (digital models) 1D, 5D, 10D, 20D, 20Da, 30D, 40D, 50D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 1000D, D30, D50, D60, Rebel, Rebel XT, Rebel XTi, Rebel XS, Rebel XSi, Rebel T1, Rebel T1i. We also carry TRUE-2 Adapters for most other SLR/DSLR cameras on our website. Inquire for more info.
